I have been asked a few questions about my recent beard oil hobby and thought I would answer a few.
Hey Jeremy, whats with the beard oil?
First off, thank you for calling me by my name. I trust you more now and hope I can answer all your questions Denise.
I was at a local mall and popped inside a new shave store. I overheard the sales lady talking about their beard oil and all its benefits with another customer. I asked if I could give it a try and slapped a few drops on my beard. I decided then and there that beard oil was for me. It made my beard less frizzy and gave me the ability to manage it better, smelled good too. Me and the gentleman who sampled it agreed to purchase the 1oz. bottle. We then found out it was $40. I was like dang man....No really, seldom do I loose my cool but I was like daggone.
I decided tho check the internet to see if I could find a quality oil at a more reasonable price. In the search I discovered many quality and low priced beard oils , but three problems kept popping up.
- They were way overpriced
- They were also selling a lifestyle and came in weird scents like tobacco barn floor or forrest leather wrapped binoculars.
- They were affordable but skimped on the quality oils
Fed up and discouraged I did what any Tennessean would do and went to Wal-Mart. I was positive they would have a decent everyday beard oil at a great value. Sadly I was mistaken.
I went home shaken and nearly defeated. All I could think about was how my beard was going to grow up without a proper oil. I fell sleep researching beard oil on pintrest and listening to CCR. When I awoke I decided that I was going to make my own Exceptional Beard Oil.
Is this some sort of snake oil?
No its not Denise. My beard oil has the same quality oils in it that the specialty boutiques are selling for $40 an ounce. Here Denise check out this link about all the benefits of a quality daily beard oil http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/01/beard-oil-facial-hair_n_5629592.html
Are you serious? I can't tell if you are serious.
Haha. Yes Denise. I am rarely serious but I don't think a beard growing up not properly hydrated and in a frizzly mess is something that you should joke about. Can we please move on? Your additude is making me uncomfortable.
What are you going to do with the beard oil fortune?
Haha. There is the Denise I know. I liked to call it Tennessee Tea. I am not sure, but for now all Exceptional Beard Oil purchases will go to a local non profit organization by the name of Honor Courage Commitment Dallas. It is our hope that the funds will help them raise awareness for the 22+ veterans that are taking their own lives everyday in America.
